UNESCO CLUB

UNESCO in Marigold was formally established on 7th November, 2022 along with 21 students of grade 8 & 9. This club was started for the project “THE NEXT 50” which was organized by UNESCO Office, Kathmandu. In the project, students were given a task to research on various World Heritage Sites as well as the sites that can be nominated for World Heritage Sites in upcoming future. Being in this club, students were able to visit different World Heritage Sites of Nepal and learned many things on World Heritage Sites of Nepal as well as of different countries. Each students of the club nominated different sites of Nepal that has to be enlisted in World Heritage Sites by UNESCO in the next 50 years and also presented slides and one of our students was given a chance to perform among 97 schools in “THE NEXT 50” final dialogue which was held on 13th December, 2022 in Marriott Hotel, Kathmandu.
